DON’T DIE UNDER GUILT: WHAT EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW OR CONSIDER ABOUT ABORTION

For as long as there is life on earth, and for as long as the true nature   of man continues to be under the clouds, our views on abortion   would  continue to be polarized. Daggers would continue to be   drawn  between those who are for, and against, abortion.   Nevertheless, there are a few things we ought to know. Or consider.

Some people’s strong point in arguing against abortion is the fact that   movement and pulse beat can be observed in a foetus. “What crime   has your child committed to deserve to have its arms and its legs   pulled off of its body and its head crushed in the womb?” Gabriel   Olivier rhetorically questioned during a recent rally of opponents and   supporters of abortion in Mississippi, USA. That’s highly emotive.

However, emotion has nothing to do with reality; for emotions   sometimes bother on ignorance. Such was the case with the position   of the early church authorities with whether the earth was flat or   round; and the relative position of the earth with sun. It agitated the human mind and caused incalculable damage until truth, late in coming from the rather sluggish march of science, stamped out the rage of ignorance. Surely, science, with its slow pace at unearthing and validating reality, is still digging at the issues around abortion. Before it arrives at our shores with its findings, let’s consider abortion from another perspective.

If we understand the nature of ourselves, it would be plain that Soul which is to become the sole occupant of the body (foetus) can animate the body by hanging or hovering around the pregnant woman, or from any distance.

This fact is not anything strange. We activate our cars and other electro-mechanical devices through remote controls. On a lighter side, in Africa, Psychics can control someone miles away. I learnt it was so in European countries some centuries back. Reality is the same whether it is approached from the side of physical sciences or spiritual science. However, one may be slower than the other’ but both are valid paths into the unknown.

Whether the body is in another body, as in the case of pregnancy, or independent of another body when the baby has been delivered, or even reached any level of maturity as a child or adult, the fact is unchanged about a particular body and the Soul that is using it. Soul animates a particular body when it identifies with it, in this case, the foetus, or when it permanently takes possession at child birth. When it terminally leaves the body, the former foetus, hitherto body, dies, being without its animating factor. Or Spirit, which is what Soul, is.

Discover one truth and you are close to discovering the others.

A house under construction is not yet a habitable place. It is not expected to have an occupant. The building in-progress could be stalled at any time for any number of reasons and remains undelivered, uncompleted, for as long as the reason for halting it persists. Only devious people can occupy such a place.

While the construction is progressing, the owner could occasionally come for inspection, With his presence, the whole place would be somewhat animated. The place would at that time witness a flurry of activities. Yet that does not mean the house is ready for occupation.

At any stage of the construction, the building can be pulled down. Aborted! This pulling down, aborting the progression of the construction from coming into visible reality could be by accident, by malicious act of others, or by the willful act of the owner who no longer wants it. In all these cases, nobody is killed since nobody is yet living in the building. Even though an amount of resources has gone into it.

There are rare cases where the building under construction collapses and the owner who was there at that opportune time dies in it. However, this is vastly different with Soul, the would-be occupant of the foetus- the biological building under construction. Soul, being individualized spirit, is never hurt nor can it be killed. Death in adults demonstrates that; in which soul simply takes its flight from the body.

We have seen building, beautiful ones at that, that has seen completion, yet the owner declined to live in it, for whatever reason best known to him. The owner then takes up residence in another place within the area, or another region entirely.

Still births are simply the individual Soul refusing to take up residence in that body, that foetus, for a variety of reasons. What happens in that case is that the body would be lifeless. Medical doctors would give a hundred and one reasons for still births, but if investigated deeper, the reason would be as clear as a crystal ice.

In all the scenarios above, it is obvious that pulling down a building under construction, or refusing to take up residence in a completed building, does not amount to killing the would-be occupant of the building, anymore than aborting a foetus would amount to killing Soul that would have used, lived in, and animated the body for its designed lifetime.

The issue of whether for or against abortion should weigh more on the side of the woman considering the health implications and choices of a “thing” known, the woman; rather than that of the “thing” unknown yet, the foetus.

Does it mean then that abortion should be a free reign? That would be looked at in the next article.

  1. Man's manipulation to stop a foetus created in a woman by The Almighty is termed Abortion. It is an abomination to cut ones' life because it is God's. It is incomparable with building houses or such physical structures.

    1. Very correct, don't mind those who do not know their creator and the source of their lives.

  2. Immediately after conception life begins. Whether inform of blood or foetus life has come in existence and shouldn't be tamper or using any medium to destroy it otherwise it shouldn't only be termed 'abortion' but also is a case of murder, because you deny that living human to exists.there is no logical form or grammar you can use to justify your evil act/practice because you have sin against God and against humanity.
There is a lesson I want every one reading this comment to learn because we have been deceived many times from the evil one concerning abortion of foetus of which some believe that foetus don't have soul and has not gotten to human form and in their meaning that foetus is not human and can be legally abort.
That's a pure theoretical evil from God's enemy.
What makes any thing to grow, form or germinate is life, that's why is called living thing, human, animals and plants.without life blood/foetus cannot form and take full shape, without life seed cannot germinate and so to animals, all are the handwork of the almighty and eternal God the giver of life and no one, have the power to take human life except God.
Immediately after conception God assign a soul to the blood to form foetus in a gradual process to a full human shape.soul is spirit, spirit is the source of life and so therefore soul is life.holy book(Bible) said Lord' take away your spirit from human and it will become dust.
So when you murder/abort that living thing that you call foetus the soul/spirit will go back to it creator (God) because you have denied it human existence,
And non of us living now would wish that such happened to us during our time in our mother's womb.

  3. Good piece Ali. I like the analogy.
However, using the analogy, the issue then should be whether it is morally or even legally right for any other person, other than the owner of a building, whether completed or not to take the initiative to demolish the building.
Where you miss the point is that the real owner of the building, whether complete(as in already delivered or grown) or uncompleted (as in fetus) is not the tenant or caretaker (mother) but the Landlord (the creator Himself).
You don't go amending a property you do not own, talk less of demolish it just because the landlord made you a caretaker.

    That is my take.
