In Nigeria, there
has always been an enduring tug-of-war between the different healing
streams- the orthodox medical practitioners on one side, and the complementary
medical practitioners on the other. As
is expected, the issue boils down to, who is greater? But the matter is not
about who is greater; but rather one of, what is each bringing to the table?
Seen in this light, the different healing streams would complement each other;
leading to a more robust healthcare system.
From this view, the term,
alternative medicine, would simply refer to the various channels or systems of
healing available in a particular healthcare system. This is better than the
current practice of referring to alternative medicine in a derogatory manner
and making people think of it, or anything outside the orthodox medicine, as a
lesser and unhealthy channel of healing. The word ‘orthodox’ with reference to
a particular channel in the system, is itself biased.
Let me state it clearly
here, as I see it though: All streams or forms or channels of healing are
valid. Orthodoxy therefore, only refers to the one a particular society pays
more attention to, and has cared enough to develop; and as a result, has
assumed pre-eminence in the society. Like is obtainable in religion; yet all
religions are valid, and holds truth to some degree. The degree of truth or
untruth in each is not the issue; for they all are not bound to hold truth, and
cannot hold truth, in equal proportion, otherwise they would appeal to, or bore,
all at once. Again, just as in religion,
the neglected ones may be the potential gold mines, if we care enough to
understand and further them in research.
This brings us to the
issue of drugs, vibration and healing.
All life, in fact,
everything vibrates.
Vibration is the rapidity
or frequency of movement at a particular wavelength, within itself, of the
atomic structure or particles which compose the unit. No two forms of life
vibrate at the same rate. In other words, no two plants, minerals, animals or
humans have the same rate of vibration.
Even no two parts of each unit of life have the same vibration. That’s
perhaps, the basis of formulations, integrations and the production of whole
bodies. Or drugs.
Every person, or unit of
life, is therefore a centre of harmonized vibration, consisting of the
vibratory rates of its cooperating or constituent parts. Vibration has a lot to do with the wellbeing
or vibrancy of an individual, community, or a nation. That determines how functional or vibrant the
unit is.
As an instance, Nigeria is
wobbly, as a state, because it has not found a way to harmonize the energies
and vibration of each of Its federating units into a singular, unique
wavelength. So rather than a unique band
of energy whose wavelength can peak and touch the creative energies of its
people, what we have is dispersions, wastages and incongruencies, resulting in
disharmonies and dis-ease. Disease! A diseased state. A state of conflicting
vibratory rates.
It’s the same with an
individual or body system; when there are disharmonies within a part or parts
of the body due to incongruent vibrations. It results in lack of healthiness
and wellbeing. Dis-ease. Sickness. And
when we are sick or under diseased condition, we take drugs to restore us to
our normal state of health.
Drugs then, from the
forgoing, and in whatever form they are, are no more than units or derivatives
of elements at a particular vibration and wavelength. Drugs may be composed of
mono vibration, derived from a single element or part of an element; or of
multiple vibratory sources, harmonized into a single unit of vibration, to meet
the requirement of a particular energy centre in the body.
In effecting a cure, a
single drug with a mono, or harmonized vibration (different compositions) may
be used. In some other cases, each with different harmonized vibration
(compositions) could be administered at the same time; so that the different misalignments
caused at different parts of the body, culminating in a diseased condition,
could simultaneously be addressed before the state of normalcy or soundness is
achieved.
If we look at the
substance and not the form, reality and not shadows, we can safely conclude
that drugs are packets of vibrations, irrespective of the source or methods of
derivation. Since the healing energy in drugs is a function of vibration,
drugs could be extracted or made from minerals, plants, animals and even human
beings. Don’t allow your mind to wander too far. Why do we use o+ to transfuse
only those with like blood culture? We can argue anything but at the end we
come back to base, vibration. Even spiritual healing is accomplished in the same way-through vibration, by lowering or raising the vibration rate of the person concerned. Because of the instancy of this sort of healing it dubbed a miracle.
All drugs are packet of
energy in a particular form and certain range of vibrations. As such they exist
at different rates of sublimity and rarity; and thus have various implications
for the harnessing, and for the body. Not forgetting to mention that these
drugs can be in solid, powder or liquid form, it doesn’t matter.
What then makes the
difference between the so called orthodox medicine, and the other healing
stream, say, homoeopathic medicine? It is largely in the source, means of
harnessing, and administration.
