Leaders of the Lubricants Producers’ Association of Nigeria (LUPAN) recently paid a visit to the Director General of Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), Mallam Farouk Salim at the SON Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.

In his Welcome Address, the DG acknowledged SON’s existing collaborative relationship with LUPAN and appreciated the Association’s efforts in the facilitation of a conducive business environment for Its industry.
The leader
of the LUPAN delegation, Alhaji Mustapha Ado Muhammad, thanked the DG for his
hospitality and for leading the fight against the production of substandard
lubricants in Nigeria.
Similarly,
Chief Daniel Chukwudozie, a member of LUPAN, also applauded SON’s efforts to
promote ease of doing business, as it relates to the Lubricants oil industry.
The
highlight of the visit was the presentation of three Ford Pickup Utility
vehicles by the LUPAN Excos to the Director General of SON, stating that the donation
aims at boosting SON’s operational efficiency.
Lubricants Producers Association of Nigeria (LUPAN), with Its Headquarter at 4, Caulcrick Road, Off Kofo Abayomi street, Apapa, Lagos, is the umbrella body of Lubricants producers in Nigeria, formed “to provide a forum where member can meet and exchange ideas with the aim of improving the economic fortunes of member-companies”
