This is the concluding part of
the article, Modern Ailments: Complementary Healing, by
Late Dr. Godswill Ogbonna C.A. (MD) PhD (AM)
The first is
our eating habit.
Not enough food is just as bad as eating too
much. The case of not eating enough will bring a number of diseases due to a
deficiency of minerals essential to the maintenance of health.
Faulty diets
like canned, frozen foods with lots of spices may not good for us. The
chemicals contained in some foods are positively harmful. Incorrect preparation
is also another on diet. A great deal of food value is lost by their incorrect
preparation.
Next is
shock.
The stages
of shock are numerous and may be outlined as follows- prenatal, physical, auric
(aural). Emotional and any force of shock to the human system at any stage in
life can multiply and derange a set of symptoms, which at the time, may not be
readily recognizable. Shock, in one way or another, is one prime factor of deep
rooted commitment. Psycho-therapists have discovered just how great a shock can
be to the system. We do look at shock from limited side effects.

Let us also
look at colour.
The healing
effects of colour and its general outcome on the stability of the individual are
contained in a lot of publications. The over stimulation of some colours and the
faulty harmonies or clashing of different colours in the home can, in turn,
lead to allergy of colour itself. There are some people who should not wear
certain colours or have them in their homes. This can be rectified and thus
prevent the aggravation of certain kind of illnesses.
Finally, for
want of space, we want to consider another one: Radiations.
I read recently where a young girl was
suffering from depression and headache. The problem was traced to the radiation
from a TV. Although she was not in the same room with the television, she was
sleeping with head in line with the back of the TV set. A removal of the
television from the area of the bed secured a cure.
A great many
manufacturers have to stop this radiation. It is nevertheless a fact of life
that the phenomenon that produces radio, television, cell phone, computers, can
affect us all. People living near radio or television broadcasting stations, or
live near these telecommunication masts, especially the more sensitive ones,
might be responding to the harmful effects there from.
Then there
is radiation from, or as it may be called, pollution, from other domestic
appliances in and around the home, which can have immediate or cumulative
effect on individuals. Even on the not-too-sensitive individuals but after a
very long period of accumulation in the body.
Types of radiation include, in broad terms, domestic radiation, cosmic radiation, and local radiation.
